The Basics of Vegas Craps

The actual game of Vegas Craps is extremely easy to play, and only requires that players make their bets and then shoot the dice. There are two phases in any Craps game, the coming out phase and the point phase. The coming out phase is the initial shooting of the dice, and the point phase is what can potentially follow. Once the bets are understood, these phases will make more sense.

How to Win with Vegas Craps

The pass line bet is the easiest bet and win situation to grasp first. If the player places a pass line bet, then in the initial coming out phase the hopes are for the shooter to roll a 7 or an 11, called a natural. If the player has made a pass line bet then he or she will win that round. If a 2, 3 or 12 are rolled, it is known as Craps and the player loses. If a combination equal to any of the numbers: 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 are rolled, then that figure becomes the players point, and the game moves into the point phase. The idea is then to throw the point before a 7 is thrown, otherwise the player loses.

Placing Bets with Online Craps
